- The mayor and people request that Wykford be put to answer to them in the Bench or Exchequer for the wrong that he did them notwithstanding that it was done of the realm. They came upon an enemy ship charged with grain on the way to La Rochelle and took it to Bordeaux where Wykford came and took some of the grain from them and sold it and held and still holds their goods as many merchants and mariners in Bordeaux can attest.
