Nature of request
The escheator [this side] of Trent states that the justices of North and South Wales are not allowing his sub-escheators to do their jobs in Wales and the Welsh Marches, and asks that the council ordain how the king should be best served in these areas.The escheator also requests that the Council ordain how the king is to be best served in the cities and boroughs such as in London, Bristol, Gloucester and elsewhere where the he and his ministers may not execute their offices, as the king is badly served at present.
