The Laceles request grace and remedy and that they can have deliverance of the land which was the Escots's in South Cowton. The Escots held land in South Cowton from the Laceles and were killed in Scotland as enemies of the king whereby the land should have escheated to them, but it has been taken into the hand of the king.
