'Atlantic Coast, Gulf and River St. Lawrence': 2 copies of a chart covering the area between Outardes Bay, Quebec; Belle Isle, Newfoundland; Cape Race, Newfoundland; and Penobscot Bay, Maine; showing soundings in fathoms. Reference tables. Compass roses; magnetic variation to 1957. Mercator's projection. Compiled on the basis of earlier Canadian Hydrographic Service and British Admiralty charts; published by the Canadian Hydrographic Service, Marine Services Branch, Department of Mines and Technological Surveys, Ottawa, 1 February 1951; reprinted with corrections, 12 June 1970; minor corrections to 1972. Inset: a continuation of the Saint Lawrence River westward to Quebec City. (6) An uncoloured copy on the above map, printed on acetate, also showing areas where British vessels were to be permitted to fish until 1973 and until 1978. A copy of item (6), printed on paper, remains in FO 93/163/4.
