Scale: 1 inch to 10 versts. Traced from a Russian map. A note states: 'Signed by Captain of the Guard of the état major. Kotzbue 2nd copie conforme. Colonel Tutikov'. Originally enclosed in George Thorne Ricketts's [despatch] number 52, 28 September 1863. According to Ricketts's [despatch] number 35, 12 August 1863, which can also be found at FO 195/797, the Russian map was drawn by Kotzbue in his capacity as a member of a commission examining the 6 detached districts added by the Porte [i.e. the Ottoman Government] to Serbia in 1833; Ricketts also notes that the map shows Mali Zvornik as being within Serbia.
