Description

Burma (now Myanmar); China: Yunnan province. 15 maps showing boundary claims and the decisions of the Burma-China Boundary Commission. (6) Covering the Hsamong tract and the area between the Nam Hka [River] and Loi Ang, showing proposed and agreed-upon frontiers. (7) Covering the Nam Hka valley above Panghsang. Scale: 2 inches to 1 mile [1:31,680]. (8) Showing paddy fields worked by the villagers of La Hpok and the frontier as finally determined. Scale: 6 inches to 1 mile [1:10,560]. Compass indicator. (9) Covering the area between Loi Ang and the Nam Loi [River], showing proposed and agreed-upon boundaries. Reference table to villages. (10) Showing the boundary as surveyed at Keng Loi. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile [1:63,360]. (11-16) Map on 6 sheets, together showing the frontier, as demarcated by the Boundary Commission Southern Party, between 99°10' and 101°30'E; items 13-16 also showing frontier cairns. (17) Showing frontier cairns around Keng Loi. (18) Showing triangulation points and proposed and agreed-upon frontiers between 100° and 101°E. (19) Showing various proposed frontiers in the area immediately to the west of the Mekong River. Compass indicator. (20) Showing the frontier, as demarcated by the Boundary Commission Northern Party, between 97°30' and 99°E. Scale: 1 inch to 4 miles [1:253,440].
