Harrington to Cumberland, enclosing original papers [list in SP 87/17/9] relating to the 8,000 Austrian troops. He refers him to the king's instructions to Ligonier. It has not been possible to compute a total cost, but it is thought greatly to exceed Kaunitz' first proposal. He asks Cumberland to settle the matter with Kaunitz or Königsegg. Dated (OS) at Whitehall. ff. 13-17
