Description

Stair to Carteret: while there is no final decision on winter quarters, he is experiencing difficulty in finding shelter for them. He encloses a list [SP 87/10/86] of quarters for the Hanoverians and Hessians. Remonstrances of the bishop of Liège. He encloses a project for recruitment 'on this side' [SP 87/10/87]. He encloses letters [SP 87/10/88, 89] by [Onslow Burrish] giving an account of events at Liège. Excellent condition of the troops. Dated at Ghent. PS. that he encloses a letter [SP 87/10/91] from Colonel [Humphrey] Bland proposing Abraham Hume for the post of the late Colonel Burroughs. ff. 173-175
