Description

Carteret to Stair and [Robert] Trevor: in view of intelligence received of a possible Jacobite landing in Britain, they are instructed to enjoin the Dutch to hold 6,000 men in readiness to be brought up the Thames. Dated (OS) at Whitehall. ff. 273, 274
