Description

Stair to Carteret, requesting that the Hanoverians and Hessians be ordered to march at once, as the king's intentions have not been kept a secret in Hanover, and Maillebois must shortly receive orders to return to the low countries. If the king declares war, the Dutch are obliged to provide 6,000 troops. Dated at The Hague. ff. 237, 238
