Description

Stair to Carteret: he awaits Major General Ligonier. The French have no suspicions [about the Hanoverians and Hessians]. Events at Prague. At Arenberg's request, he has sent letters to Maria Theresa, [SP 87/9/103], her first minister Count Uhlefeld [SP 87/9/104] and Count Königseck [SP 87/9/105]. He encloses a representation on pay from the senior officers of the army [SP 87/9/106]. He encloses a copy of an old memorial by Fenélon [SP 87/9/107], and a letter he has received from Prince William of Hesse [SP 87/9/108]. Dated at The Hague. ff. 218-220
