Description

Count H [Heinrich von] Podewils to Count [Otto Christoph von] Podewils, written at the king of Prussia's express order: he welcomes Stair's opinion that the Netherlands may join Britain as guarantors of the peace. The king has made a concession in the matter of Königgrätz. Importance of the British and Dutch guarantees, which should be treated as separate from any treaty of alliance. Dated at Breslau. ff. 14, 15
