Description

John Clevland. Mr Stephens, Naval Officer at Deal, has sent a petition from his Chief Clerk, for his salary to be increased which he recommends. Opine the business of the Office is at least equal to that of the Chief Clerk to the Officers of the Dockyards and propose his salary is increased from £30 to £45 per annum
