Description

John Clevland. George Vaughan acted as Surgeon of the Devonshire by order of Vice Admiral Holburne. Opine he should be paid an allownace by bill equal to the pay of Surgeon for the time he acted as Surgeon because he was Surgeon of the Ferret until he had directions to replace Mr Sherwin of the Devonshire who was out of his senses and who is on her books
