John Clevland. The Deputy Governor of the Turkey Company has written about the accounts of Mr Wakeman, Consul at Cyprus for subsisting English seamen cast away at Tripoli. Some of the men were sent from Cyprus as passengers on the Gloucester and Tryton to London and on the Lovely Betsey for Hamburg. Are not authorised to allow the accounts.
