John Clevland. Dr. Teake, Physician of the Fleet, has been paid the allowance of 20s a day from February to November 1721 and he and his servant, Peter Brooks, were borne on the Portsmouth Hospital ship. Dr. Lidderdale was borne on the Looe, Sutherland and Rochester Hospital ships, as listed overleaf, and it appears that no half pay or other allowance has been paid to anyone serving in that office when they have been out of employ except a pension for Dr. Lidderdale on Admiralty order
