Josiah Burchett. Have ordered the Master Smith, Master House Carpenter, Master Joiner and Master bricklayer at Deptford to join Mr Mills, Assistant to the Surveyor, in taxing the tradesmen's bills for work done at the Admiralty Office. Are returning them to you with the sums noted in red ink which could be abated and giving a total of what is proposed for abatement. The House Keeper of the Admiralty has not certified what work has been done and Mr Glanvil's certificate for the measurement of those works is also wanting
