Nature of request
Cotingham requests remedy as the king presented him to the church of Angle because the priory of Pembroke was in the king's hand because it is alien, but the prior challenged this; the king recovered the presentation, and Cotingham was instituted, but now he is ruined by a bull from Rome and the judgment summoning him to Rome which is to his loss and in prejudice of the king and weakens the judgments given in his court.
Nature of endorsement
He should have a writ of prohibition formed upon the contents of this petition so that no-one should do or attempt anything in weakening the judgment, and further let them have writs of attachment if it is necessary.
