- A supersedeas is requested of the tenths and fifteenths until the quindene of Michaelmas next for the clergy and other commons of the Isle so that the people can be made to reside in the Isle.
- Nature of endorsement
- It is agreed that they should have a writ of supersedeas of levying the tenths and fifteenths between now and Michaelmas; and they should also have writs and patents to compel by distress all those who have lands and tenements in the Isle of Wight to come and reside there and to be contributors to make payment of the tenths and fifteenths at the feast, and to make proclamations, and to certify in Chancery the names of those who do not come and support the charges.
