Nature of request
The citizens request remedy as they made a fine for a confederacy made amongst them and others of the city concerning an ancient guild established in the city for alms at the suit of Turg, but now Turg and others have published throughout the city that they are attainted before the council of conspiracy and collusion by which they are now held as outlaws.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the mayor, bailiffs and community of the city of York that the petitioners made a fine and should not be separated from the community of the city nor from its council but should be treated in the state that they were before.
