- Walter de Thornhill states that a full three years before he became a rebel against the King, John Mautravers made a recognisance in Common Bench for some lands and tenements which he bought from him; but he has never paid him for them. They are now in the King's hand through his forfeiture, and Walter asks that he might either be paid the money, or have his lands and tenements back.
