- Hugh Trevenant, parson of the church of Walsoken states that because he had sued a process of Holy Church against one John Lavyngton, clerk, who claimed a right in that church, John came to that church with force and arms and made a violent attack on his proctors. Hugh then purchased a writ under the statute of Northampton, and had John arrested. Nevertheless, John has continued his attacks. He requests a remedy, so that he is not put out of his church without due process of law.
