The ship and goods were put under arrest by the Constable of Dover Castle, most of the sailors were killed, and two taken prisoner; one, Lesteven is in the keeping of Willesden, but the other is unknown. They state that they have not had remedy due to Scrope being ousted from office, and therefore ask that the King have regard for the friendship between England and the doge and people of Genoa, and remedy the matter, and summon Willesden before him with the prisoner.
