- John Mareys requests that a tenement in Castle Baynard ward in London be returned to him in accordance with a statute made at Westminster at the quindene of Michaelmas 1362, so that he may use the income to pay off a debt. He states that he bought the tenement from another John Mareys, a servant of Edward III, but it has since been taken into the king's hands on account of a debt owed to the king's grandfather.
