Ellen de Limpet states that her husband, the king's receiver, had been unable to levy the rents on the manor due to the poverty of the tenants and the destruction caused by the king's Scottish and Irish enemies. She therefore requests that the outstanding £60 be allowed on the account, and that she be allowed to retain her lands there.
