Description

Despatch (3 enclosures):

  • transportation of troops to Rattan;
  • appointment of second physician to troops in Jamaica;
  • arrival of Lord Montague's Corps: Dalling allowed them to take their rations without stoppage;
  • fear of potential circumstances which might render naval assistance impracticable;
  • preparations made in light of intelligence regarding approaching enemy forces;
  • arrival of parliamentary donation to Jamaica;
  • petition from inhabitants of parish of Westmoreland.
