Wade to Carteret, enclosing the responses of Arenberg [SP 87/15/44] and Count Maurice of Nassau [SP 87/15/45] to Stair's sequel. His own objection to it. He has been unable to persuade the [Austrian and Dutch] generals to take action against the enemy. Desertion, disease, shortage of fodder and indiscipline. He has received and is forwarding de Givry's proposals on the sea cartel. Dated at camp at Anstein. ff. 83, 84
