Lieutenant General Smissaert to Wade: he has arrived at Ostend with the Dutch troops under his command. Six companies from the two ships affected by the storm are to remain in Ostend together with five companies, drawn one from each regiment. He will march next day with the highlanders and the Hanoverians. Dated at Ostend. ff. 214, 215
