Description

Report of Nash Grose on Richard Mabbot and Benjamin Dangerfield, convicted for stealing 2 geldings, property of Sir George Onesiphorus Paul. 1 of the horses was ill treated and later died. Grounds for clemency: none given. Initial sentence: not given, commuted to 7 years transportation. Recommendation: speaks in favour of transporting himself (or themselves) but only at the king's discretion. Folios 191-192.
