Description

Submission of authenticated copies of two Acts passed by the Legislature of Grenada [not in item]:

  • An Act Intituled an Act to Amend an Act Intituled an Act for Establishing and Regulating a Militia in this Island and Carriouacou [Carriacou];
  • An Act Intituled An Act for Granting to His Majesty a Certain Rate or Tax on the Amount of all Goods, Wares and Merchandises sold within these Isalnds, by Transient or Non-Resident Traders, and for Appropriating the Same.
Reports that the Legislature have passed:
  • An Act to Continue an Act Intituled an Act for Appropriating a Certain Proportion of Negroe Labour to be Employed on the Fortifications of this Island, and Appropriating to the Same Purpose such part of a Late Vote of Credit as may not be Already Appropriated;
  • An Act Intitled an Act to Amend an Act intitled An Act for Appropriating a Certain Proportion of Negroe Labour to be Employed on the Fortifications of this Island, and Appropriating to the Same Purpose such part of a Late Vote of Credit as may not be Already Appropriated, and to Indemnify all Commissions or other Persons for Commutations of Money for Labour contrary to the Said Act, and to Authorise Voluntary Commutations to a Certain Extent;
Transmits the Monthly Return of His Majesty's Forces on the Island of Grenada for 1 July 1787 [includes Return of the Black Corps of Grenada].
