John, chancellor of York, judge delegate, Master Stephen, canon of Chichester and regent of Theology at Oxford, Master Robert de la More, canon of St. David's and dean of Chichester, subdelegates, and Master Henry de Bath, doctor of divinity, official of Ely, to Henry III: signifying the excommunication of Master Hugh de Mortimer, official of the archbishop of Canterbury, for failure to appear to answer Master William, archdeacon of Lincoln, in a case concerning the jurisdiction of Lincoln 'sedes vacante'.
Given at Oxford and dated as iii March Anno Domini MCCL quarto. The date given in Lists and Indexes XV is thus superseded.
