Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick to Holdernesse: the enemy are retreating towards Hesse, pursued by the hereditary prince. Ferdinand is proceeding to Paderborn, where his advance guard has already arrived. Armentières has raised the siege of Lippstadt, reinforced the garrisons of Düsseldorf and Wesel, and marched for Hesse. Situation and size of various food stores. He is sending some captured letters of Contades. Belle-Île tells him to exhaust the territories of the allied princes of grain, horses and men. Dated at Stuckenbrock. ff. 121, 122
