Nature of request
The petitioners request pardon of a debt of £251 owed since the time of Henry III, the king having regard for their aid to the king in his wars of Wales, Gascony and Scotland, and that they are destroyed and impoverished by burning.
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege.The king wishes that by the justices and treasurer the debt be allowed to be repaid in reasonable portions each year.
