Dacre requests an inquiry into his claim to the office of chief forester of Inglewood Forest, which was held of fee by Multon, his grandfather, whose heir he is, but was seized in the time of Edward I, and still remains in the king's hands.

Let this petition be sent into Chancery where the justices of the forests, the king's serjeants and others will be called, inquiry will be made, and right will be done.
