Nature of request
Leche shows that his predecessor let various lands and tenements at farm for the profit of his church, but the escheator entered these lands and tenements for the debts of the archbishop and withdrawn the rents and services pertaining to the archbishop to his great damage. Leche requests a writ to the archbishop of Ireland that if the lands and tenements were taken for this reason and no other, that he make restoration of them to the tenants and [...] to the archbishop of the rents and services since he has not alienated them but leased them at.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the chancellor of Ireland that he should enquire of the contents in the petition, and what and how much the land and tenements contained in the petition are valued per annum etc., and if it is damage or prejudice of the king etc. and certify the king.
