- The petitioner asks for intervention in his favour in matters concerning the transgression of clerks of the law against the mayor and bailiffs of the town of Cambridge. He states that by the king's charter, if clerks of the law seriously transgress then they are to be taken into the petitioner's jurisdiction and held under bond for repayment of bail etc., citing the case of Richard Batmen, William Batman and Henry le Ceer, which rights of the petitioner are disputed by the mayor and bailiffs etc.
