Nature of request
Robert le Crevecoeur (Creuquer) seeks the land of Maelor Saesneg with appurtenances, which King Edward (the king's grandfather) granted to Robert le Crevecoeur (Creuquer) the elder by his charter, with franchises and other appurtenances to have to Robert and his heirs forever in reward and recompense for other lands and tenements that Robert the elder gave to the King and Queen Eleanor, as more fully contained in the king's charter.
Nature of endorsement
Because it is witnessed before the council that the tenements are in the hands of Ebulo le Strange, let the petitioner sue against him at the common law.
