Nature of request
Writ of Edward III to the Treasurer and Chamberlains of the Exchequer, asking them to search the Exchequer memoranda relating to the complaint of the Abbot and convent of Coggeshall that they have been disseised of their view of frankpledge in their manor of Tolleshunt Major.

We have examined the memoranda in our custody and have found nothing that touches the manor or view mentioned within; nor that the religious mentioned within claimed this view in the Eyres held in the county of Essex, in which the said manor is situated.
