Nature of request
Inquisition held at Chelmsford on the eve of Pentecost, I Edward III, finding that Roger de Wyremundeford, Edward I's Bailiff, unjustly disseised the Abbot and convent of Coggeshall of view of frankpledge in their manor of Tolleshunt Major, which they held of the gift of Philip de Boville, and that this view has been in the King's hand ever since.
