Adam la Geyte asks that a debt that he owes the King might be allowed against a debt the King owes him for wages and loss of horses in his service.

Coram rege, concerning debts.He is to have a writ of Chancery to the Treasurer and Barons to allow what he asks this time.
Note
No date given, but would seem to be late Edward I. Another petition (SC 8/9/427) from an Adam la Geyte, who would appear to be the same man, can be dated to 1305. He was then granted for life lands in Tebay, Westmorland, which he had previously held at will; they were granted to someone else in October 1328 (CCR 1327-30, p.347).
