Description

Changes in the Customs Department: subsequent to appointment of Mr Seon as police magistrate, reports that he has appointed Mr P L Dillon as senior landing waiter. He has promoted Mr King and Mr Boreham from 4th class to 3rd class landing waiters, and plans to abolish the 4th class of landing waiters on the retirement of Messrs Clinton, Taylor and Walcott. With particulars of posts of senior landing waiter and third class landing waiter, a list showing present staff and proposed alterations and promotions, and a minute from the lieutenant governor.
