R Irvine to [Under Secretary] James Wallace: reports of a British plan to land at or near Calais and from there march to Dunkirk. None of the privateers in Dunkirk has yet sailed because of late bad weather. An English privateer, the Royal George, is reported to have returned from the Levant with the plague. Dated at Flushing. ff. 94, 95
