To Baron Münchausen from Amherst: It appears likely that permission to march the [Hessian] troops through the Netherlands will be withheld, and so they will have to pass through Hanover. He asks Münchausen to make the necessary arrangements. The troops will march to Stade rather than travel by boat. ff. 53, 54
