- The abbot and convent request that it be ordered that the bread and ale given to many clerks of the Exchequer and of the Receipt from the cellar of the abbey cease since it was a courtesy introduced by Abbot Ware when he was treasurer, and the same is still extorted from them.

- The treasurer and barons of the Exchequer are ordered to call before them the ministers of the Exchequer referred to in the petition in the presence of the abbot as to whether bread and ale was given of old, or more recently introduced. The king is to be certified upon this.
