- Llewellyn Vachann ap Llewellyn states that he is harassed and unjustly distrained to pay the extent and annual rent for the inheritance of his father, who died in the last war in Wales, although Edward I had given his grace to the heirs of all those who died at that time, that their lands would not be put under extent nor would any forfeiture be made in them. At the time when this grace was given, Llewellyn was too young to take advantage of it, and therefore asks the King to give him grace and a remedy as to others in such a case, without any increment except in the annual rent.
