Emma de Tappenesse complains that Thomas Colepeper disseised her of her tenements in Leigh by deceit and force: and these tenements, with others, have now been taken into the King's hand. She asks that the matter might be inquired into, and that justice and reason might be done to her.

Good people are to be appointed to inquire into the truth of this business, and [the inquisition] is to be returned in Chancery, and justice done there.
