- John Southcouper states that the King owes him a sum of money for carrying wine and flour from Bordeaux to Newcastle upon Tyne in the last year, for which he has a bill under the seal of Roger de Waltham, formerly Keeper of the Great Wardrobe, and which Roger is refusing to pay him. He requests that the Treasurer might be ordered either to pay him, or to allow this sum against the debts he owes the King.
