- Selling requests that he order a writ to the sheriff of Kent to enquire of the disseisin of his lands, rents and advowson in Sheldwich and Selling by Badlesmere by force and arms, or to provide some other remedy. He has been unable to recover the lands because of Badlesmere's power, and they are now in the king's hand by Badlesmere's forfeiture.
