Note (Additional information about the record)
- Rees dates this petition to? 1322 but his reference to an entry in CIM 1307-49, no.732 seems to have no obvious relevance to this petition, and rather relates directly to SC 8/73/3603, another petition from the same house which Rees did not calendar (Petitions Relating to Wales, p.105). The dating has been allowed to stand, but is open to considerable question especially as the response is in Latin, which would indicate that it is unlikely to be later than 1322.
