Nature of request
Stainton requests that it is granted to him that he is only liable for his portion of the goods and chattels, and he prays grace of this that he is not ruined forever. He was indicted before the justices by false conspiracy of taking the goods and chattels of rebels. He made answer but he and others were attainted by the false oaths of Botiller and Burton.1)
